Default Designing a computer

I'm building a computer and my first question is:

Which is better and why, Intel Pentium D or AMD X2?

I will be posting more questions later on

The bottom line here in a nutshell is that Intel and Microsoft work hand in hand with each other. Don’t be fooled by price and initial performance issues. It is an easy thing to do. As unethical as my approach may be, I have been in the IT field for far too long and have seen the results of third party processors. Yes, AMD is a third party. What powers Microsoft is what powers the world. Intel.
